The current stats are alarming. Global research conducted by Dove tells us:
- Girls as young as 5 are worried about their weight.
- Young girls are more worried about becoming fat than they are of nuclear war, cancer or losing their parents.
- Girls are 3 times more likely than boys to have a negative body image.
- A girl’s self-esteem peaks at age nine and then takes a nose-dive.
- 70% of our girls feel they don’t measure up.
Those might be the stats. But at GEMS, we know the facts. Girls are accepted, belong, chosen, daughters of the King.

Connect One-On-One
Whether girls are meeting 1:1 with their moms or mentors, they’re learning that they’re loved by God and their mentors—and this kind of love profoundly impacts lives. These Christ-centered relationships and resources are changing the world one girl at a time.
START A CLUB PROGRAM
The GEMS Club Program is designed for girls in grades 1 through 8 and is flexible to accommodate an organizations’ unique needs. In club, women build relationships with girls in a small group setting. Through these mentoring relationships girls discover and experience the love of God, her mentors, and her peers. Clubs are established and supported by churches and other Christian organizations.

That’s why GEMS brings in knowledgeable experts on the issues girls face today and provide help and hope for moms, mentors, and ministry leaders. KEEP GIRLS ENGAGED
GEMS resources give girls the opportunity to explore their place in God’s world and remind them they have a unique, and important role in this world. Through independent and fun games, devotions, and activities for girls, all materials help girls discover who God is and all that He says about her—including that she is LOVED by God.
