Operation Christmas Child
GEMS Girls’ Clubs is grateful for our partnership with Operation Christmas Child. Thank you to those who participated last year and helped us to pack 5,006 boxes! Your generosity of time and finances were critical in making this happen.
This year, we would love to reach our goal of 6,000 boxes. If every club participated and packed 25 boxes, we could reach 10,000 but we want to be realistic and still challenge ourselves to pack more boxes! Please consider Operation Christmas Child as a service project for your club.
The Samaritan’s Purse project Operation Christmas Child collects shoebox gifts—filled with fun toys, school supplies and hygiene items—and delivers them to children in need around the world to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way.
For many of these children, the gift-filled shoebox is the first gift they have ever received. Since 1993, Operation Christmas Child, the world’s largest Christmas project of its kind, has collected and delivered more than 220 million shoebox gifts to children in more than 160 countries and territories.
In order to keep track of all the packed shoeboxes, we would love to have you complete this form here when you have turned in your shoeboxes.
