The world girls are growing up in is changing. Our mission is not.
The Healthy Growth Fund is an opportunity to build a stronger foundation for the future of GEMS: strengthening the Clubs and Leaders who serve girls today while preparing to reach more girls, churches, and communities tomorrow.
Investing in Healthy Growth
Our vision isn’t simply to grow bigger. It’s to grow healthier and stronger.
That means investing in the people, relationships, and resources that make GEMS ministry possible:
- Equipping volunteer Leaders with excellent curriculum, training, and support.
- Strengthening existing Clubs so they can thrive.
- Developing accessible, relevant ministry resources.
- Building relationships with new churches and communities so more girls can experience GEMS.
An Opportunity to Strengthen Our Foundation
As part of this vision, GEMS has a timely opportunity to purchase the office space we currently lease.
Rather than continuing to pay rent, ownership would allow us to build equity, create greater long-term stability, and potentially reduce future occupancy costs.
Our Board has demonstrated its commitment to this opportunity, with every Board member personally participating in funding the down payment.
While we’ve made encouraging progress toward the minimum down payment, additional investments could reduce the amount we need to borrow and the interest we’ll pay over time—allowing more future resources to support ministry.
This isn’t simply about purchasing a building. It’s about creating a stronger foundation for the next generation of GEMS.
